Reading guidance is an important content of the work in the service for readers of university library.The characteristics and effective reading guidance can cultivate students’ interest in reading and improve the utilization rate of literature resources.This paper analyzes the necessity to carry out the work of reading guidance and the factors of affecting university students’ reading,and then discusses the effective ways to carry out the work of reading guidance.
