太平天国配偶制度论析

An Analysis of Spouse System in Taiping Heavenly Kingdom

学界传统观点认为太平天国实行"一夫一妻"的配偶制,对太平天国领导人的多妻制问题大多采取回避的态度,至今还缺乏专论进行系统论析。其实,太平天国实行的是上下有别、等级森严的配偶制度。中下级军官和普通百姓实行"一夫一妻"制,高级官吏实行多妻制,诸王实行的是封建妃嫔制。太平天国领导人实行多妻制是不容置疑的。妻妾来源众多,主要使用强制手段掠取。妻妾在太平天国中境遇相当悲惨。多妻制给妇女和太平天国本身带来极大的危害和影响。

According to the traditional viewpoint, academic circles hold that Taiping Heavenly Kingdom im- plements the ＂monogamy＂ spouse system and mostly adopts the evasive attitude toward the question of its leaders＂ polygamy. Till now, we lack the monograph to give a systematic analysis. In fact, what Taiping Heavenly Kingdom implemented was the spouse system of the difference between top and bottom and the hierarchical structure. The ＂ monogamy＂ was implemented among the lower and middle -ranking officers and the common people while the po- lygamy was permitted among high - level officials and the feudal concubine system was for the kings. Undoubtedly, the leaders of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom implemented the polygamy. These leaders owned many wives and concu- bines by coercive means. The lot of wives and concubines was rather miserable. The polygamy brought about enor- mous harm and influence to women and Taiping Heavenly Kingdom itself.
