As the major part of A2/O phosphorus and nitrogen removal process, the integrativeOrbal oxidation ditch was applied on the third phase construction of Chengbei Wastewater Treat- ment Plant in Wuxi City. This paper introduced the dredging and maintenance construction of the integrative Orbal oxidation ditch under the situation of conditional emptying, including the prepara- tory, emptying requirements, dredging program, safety measures and the implementation process.
