Challenges Facing Marxism in Ideological Field and Its Response

现实存在的一些问题影响了马克思主义在意识形态领域的指导地位,而各种貌似中立的当代西方理论思潮也直接挑战了马克思主义的指导地位。通过深化改革逐步解决经济社会发展中存在的问题,深化马克思主义研究,加强马克思主义理论创新,有效整合各种媒体、善于借助新传媒手段宣传马克思主义,是我们直面挑战、加强马克思主义指导地位的应有之举。

The guiding position of Marxism in the ideological field is affected by some problems existing in reality; also, it is faced with direct challenges from a variety of contemporary western theoretical thoughts that seems neu- tral. To meet the challenges and strengthen the guiding position of Marxism, we should gradually resolve the prob- lems existing in our economic and social development through deepening reform. We should deepen study of Marx- ism, and strengthen innovation of Marxist theory. We should publicize Marxism and promote the leadership of Marx- ism by effectively integrating various media and employing new media means.
