Conception of“Hundred-year Oral History of Story-telling and Ballad Singing in Suzhou Dialect”

评弹口述史不仅能够呈现一部多元、全息、个人化的评弹史,而且还为江南文化社会研究提供重要视角和资料。评弹百年口述史构建以艺人史为中心,旁及艺术发展史、书目传承史、流派演变史、书场史、社团史等部门或专题,以从多侧面呈现百年来评弹经历的风云变幻,以及与江南社会之间的因应、互动关系。

The oral history of story-telling and ballad singing in Suzhou dialect can not only show the multi-ele- ment and personalized history with all information, but also provides important perceptive and sources for the cul- ture and social studies in the areas south of the Yangtze River. This one-hundred year oral history will take artists as the center, accompanied by art history, history of bibliographic tradition, the evolution of genres, the book mar- ket history and community history from the multi-dimensional experiences as well as the interactive relationships in areas south of the Yangtze River.
