1910—1911年《香港华字日报》中革命党形象探析——兼论辛亥革命时期的民心趋避

The Media Image of the Revolutionary Party in Chinese Mail(1910—1911)——Discussing on the Transformation of Public Opinion in 1911 Revolution

从庚戌新军起义到黄花岗起义,再到武昌起义,革命党的形象在《香港华字日报》中经历了一个变化过程,最后革命党人赢得报纸称赞,这一变化多因革命党人的表现及革命军军纪良好。报纸通过革命党与盗匪的比较,革命军与清军的比较,凸显了辛亥革命期间革命党崭新的形象。这些报道也反映出社会剧变中民心趋避和社会舆论的走向。

From the uprising of Gengxu New Army to the Huanghuagang uprising, and then to the Wuchang uprising, the revolutionary party＇ s image in Chinese Mail has undergone a changing process. Finally the revolu- tionary party won the praise of the newspaper because of the revolutionary party＇ good performance and the revo- lutionary army＇ s discipline. The newspaper highlighted the new image of the revolutionary party during the period of the 1911 Revolution, by comparisons of the revolutionary party with the bandits, and with the army of Qing Dy- nasty. These reports revealed the transformation of the popular aversion and public opinion towards social up- heaval.
