资源诅咒命题在中国各区域成立吗?——基于省际面板数据的实证研究

Whether the Proposition of Resource Curse is True or Not?——An Empirical Analysis Based on Provincial Panel Data

在中国的不同区域,资源开发与经济增长的关系存在差异:在东北地区,资源开发对经济增长存在显著的"诅咒"效应,即资源诅咒命题成立;在华北、华中地区,资源开发对经济增长不存在显著的诅咒效应;在华南、西北、西南、华东地区,资源开发对经济增长非但不存在诅咒效应,反而存在促进作用。资源与经济增长的关系在区域间的差异源于:不同区域处于不同的资源开发阶段。因此,不同区域应采取不同的资源开发战略,以促进经济增长。

The relationship between resource development and economic growth varies in different regions of China. In northeast China, resource development has significant ＂curse＂ effect on economic development, which means the proposition of resource curse is true; while in the north and central China, the effect is insignificant; and in the south, southwest, and the east of China, instead of having curse effect, resource development promotes economic growth. The rea- son why the relationships between the two are different is because different regions belong to different resource development stages. Therefore, different resource development strategies should be applied in different regions to promote economic growth.
