侠义精神作为一种个体道德规范,在中国的伦理价值体系中占有重要地位。但侠义精神具有局限性,表现为其狭隘性和模糊性。这种局限性使其在演变过程中被改造为帮会文化。随着帮会转变为黑社会组织,侠义精神成为黑社会组织的文化伪装,用以欺骗民众,而黑社会真正信奉的则是帮会文化。

The spirit of chivalry as an individual moral standard, occupies an important position in the ethical value system in China. However the spirit of chivalry has its limitation, as its narrow and fuzzy. This limitation was transformed into a confraternity culture in its evolution process. As the gang into the underworld organization, chivalrous spirit culture has become the cultural disguise in underworld organizations, to deceive the people, while the black society truly believes in is the confraternity culture.
