摘要
魏延,对蜀汉政权的创建数有战功,被刘备赏识和擢拔。刘备取下汉中后,"拔延为督汉中镇远将军、领汉中太守",魏延欣然领命,接受了捍卫蜀汉北边疆的任务,气吞山河、尽职尽责;在北伐曹魏时,勇担重任,贡献突出,是蜀汉政权的大功臣。然而,由于自己耿介矜高的性格特征而与同僚杨仪产生了深刻的矛盾,又被以诸葛亮为首的大臣所疑忌。诸葛亮去世后,他即死在了杨仪的屠刀之下。魏延的遭际,是福是祸?历史将会给予公正的评判,汉中人民永远怀念这位忠于刘蜀事业的南郑侯、征西大将军。
Wei Yan was appreciated and promoted by Liu Bei, for he had made a number of military exploits for the establishement of the Shu Han regime.
