摘要
首次将改进型人工鱼群算法用于WDM(波分复用)系统多信道PMD(偏振模色散)补偿。首先讨论了使用的多信道PMD补偿方案,其次简要介绍了这种人工鱼群算法,给出了该算法用于多信道PMD补偿时的详细步骤,最后通过6×40Gbit/s RZ(归零)码PMD补偿系统验证了这种算法的有效性。仿真结果表明,各补偿信道DOP(偏振度)均能达到0.95以上,眼图张开度增大,补偿效果良好。
An improved Artificial Fish Swarm Algorithm(AFSA) is applied for the first time to multi-channel Polarization Mode Dispersion(PMD) compensation in Wavelength-Division-Multiplexing(WDM) systems.In this paper,a compensation scheme used in multi-channel PMD compensation is first discussed and then this algorithm is briefly introduced and the detailed steps of its use given.Finally,its effectiveness is verified in a 6×40 Gbit/s RZ-coded PMD compensation system.The simulation results show that the every compensated channel can reach over 0.95 degrees of polarization and the opening of the eye diagram increases after compensation and the algorithm has a good compensation effect.
