摘要
"雄"可作程度副词,修饰形容词表示性状的程度深。副词义是从"雄"的本义"鸟父"发展而来。因为"雄"之本义含有表示"超出一般"的"大"的源义素,所以当作为形容词的"雄"位于与之不能形成并列结构的形容词前面时,形容词"大"的义素得到凸显而向程度副词演变。
xiong(雄) can be used for degree adverb and has the meaning of degree of depth by modifying the adjectives.The adverbial meaning of xiong(雄) evolved from its adjective meaning.Because xiong's(雄)original meaning is 'above average' and 'large',and when it is used as an adjective before another adjective while cannot form the parallel structure,the sememe 'large' of the adjectivexiong(雄) can be highlighted and motivate the evolution of the degree adverbxiong(雄).
