The Layer and Frame of Standardization for the Nomenclature of a Disease in TCM

作者认为中医病证规范现已进入层次和框架讨论阶段,由于病名和证候是临床辨证两个特有的诊断层次,因此中医病证规范应将这两者结合、统一起来,同步进行,才能更好地体现中医辨证论治理论体系的特色,有效指导临床。本文作者由此提出了规范病名和证候两个诊断层次的基本原则,规范病名和证候两个诊断层次的框架设想。

The author considers that the discussion on the standardization of the nomenclature of a disease in TCM has deepened into a phase of the layer and frame. Because the name and symptom-complex are the two peculiar diagnostic layers, so the name of a disease in combination with the symptom-complex reflects the peculiarity of the thoery of differentiation of syndrome in TCM and guides the clinical practices effectively. Therefore, the basic principles and the frame hypothesis of the diagnostic layer for both name of a disease and symptom-complex have been put forward.
