Fonterra Unveils Plans for More Farms in China New Zealand-based Fonterra Co-operative Group Ltd, the world＇s top 10 dairy company, announced plans on April 12 to develop two new large dairy farms in north China＇s Hebei Province. ＂Our intention is to develop separate farming hubs across China, with the ultimate goal of producing up to I billion litres of high-quality milk every year by 2020,＂ chief executive Theo Spierings said. ＂Construction of a farm in Yutian County is underway, and today we will be investing NZ$100 million （US$82.94 million） in a further two farms there,＂ he said.
