摘要 SINCE implementing its reform and open- ing-up policies in the late 197os, China has gradually moved into the internation- al spotlight to become the second biggest economy and exporter/importer. In 2001, China joined the WTO and became part of the global economy. Its international standing has grown, and its voice is heard more and more within the international community. But what about its soft power?
