摘要
环境经济学的传统假说认为,环境目标与企业竞争力之间存在社会收益与私人成本的权衡,环境保护与提高企业竞争力之间存在着根深蒂固的两难处境。文章以动态竞争理论为基础,探讨了合理的环境规制:通过激发企业创新进而提高其竞争力的机制;并分析了企业的环境行为成为未来提高其竞争力的一个基本要素的原因。研究发现,企业积极应对环境规制,通过创新降低污染、提高资源生产率是实现环境保护与提高竞争力"双赢"的关键。
The relationship between environmental goals and enterprise competitiveness has normally been thought to involve a trade off between social benefits and private costs in the traditional hypothesis. Based on dynamic competition theory, this paper discusses the mechanism that felicitous environment regulation triggers the innovation and so improves competitiveness of enterprises, and analyzes the reasons why corporate environmental behavior is an essential element to enhance their competitiveness. The results show that it is crucial for enterprises to achieve the ＂win-win＂ of environmental protection and competitiveness enhancement by actively responding to environmental regulation and by innovating to abate pollution and improve resource productivity.
