Owing to its advantages of suitable for most condition, the vortex shedding flow meters have been used more and more in industry. But vortex shedding flow meter is very easily to be influenced by various factors of environment, this made the vortex shedding flow meter meet some difficulty to perform its full function. For this reason, the technology for the calibration of vortex shedding flow meter on the application field are discussed, the particular method and practical example is given as well.
