摘要
本文引入共享投入关联两阶段DEA模型,以存款为中间产出,将银行的整体运作分为资金筹集和资金运作两个关联的子过程,并评价了1996-2010年中国银行业的整体效率和两个子过程效率。结果显示:在整体效率上,股份制银行的效率高于国有商业银行的效率,但二者的差距在缩小;在资金筹集效率上,国有商业银行的效率提升较股份制银行快,并最终超越了股份制银行;在资金运作效率上,国有商业银行与股份制银行相近。分析发现,银行整体无效率主要是由资金筹集阶段效率低引起的。对此,本文提出改善银行效率的对策建议。
Introducing related two-stage DEA model, the authors treat deposit as intermediate product and divide bank management procedure of banks into two related sub-processes including fund raising and fund operation in this paper. The paper evaluates the overall efficiency and the efficiency of the two sub-processes from the period of 1996-2010 of china＇s banking sector. The results show that the overall efficiency of joint-stock banks is higher than that of state-owned banks, but the gap is getting narrower; the fund raising efficiency of state-owned banks increases more quickly than that of joint-stock banks and surpasses joint-stock banks eventually; in terms of the fund operation efficiency, there is no big difference between state-owned banks and joint-stock banks. The study also finds that the inefficiency of banks is mainly caused by low efficiency in fund raising stage. At last, some suggestions are given to improve bank efficiency accordingly.
