On March 3-4, 2012, Professor Huang Weidong, President of the Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society （FICMES）, Director of the State Key Laboratory of Solidification Processing at the Northwestern Polytechnical University, had a special trip by air from Xi＇an to Shenyang, to conduct a face-to-face work seminar with the secretariat staff of FICMES located in the Shenyang Research Institute of Foundry （SRIF）.
