摘要
通过对项目的回访与对主设计师凯文.杉立的访谈,回顾了布法罗河道在休斯敦城市化进程中角色的演变,介绍布法罗河道散步道项目的背景及其在布法罗河道整体整治规划中的重要作用,从河道景观基础设施的角度分析并总结了本项目在生态修复与涵养水土、改善排洪、建立河道与城市的连接以及夜景照明等方面的设计理念;并讨论此项目对我国同类项目的启发。
Through the revisit to the site and interview with the lead designer Kevin Shanley,the paper reviewed the change of roles Buffalo Bayou played in the urbanization of the city of Houston.It introduced the background of The Buffalo Bayou Promenade Project and its importance in the regenerative master planning of the Buffalo Bayou.The design principles of the project,including ecological regeneration and soil conservation,improving the storm water drainage,establishing the connection between the bayou and urban,lighting design etc.,are analyzed and synthesized in the aspect of river channel landscape infrastructure.Then the paper discussed inspirations generated from this project for similar projects in China.
