Painted on the limited spaces of a screen consisting of four parts (sometimes alsoeight or twelve parts), it shows the distinctive beauty of various subjects such as human figures, landscape, flowers and birds. Instead of describing grand themes, Tiaoping painters convey their understanding of the everyday life with unique perspective, subtleness and passion.Their works, striving to display the essence of their subjects instead of purely stressing on resemblance, are always exquisite pieces which arouse their beholders appreciation, for they bestow expressive charms, profound emotions and artistic spirit on ordinary things in our daily life. Moreover, created with traditional painting skills to express painter's feeling, they are works both traditional and creative.
