美国高校教师发展经验及其借鉴

The experience of faculty development in America and our reference

摘要 高校教师发展是保证教师教学质量、提高高等教育质量的关键。我国传统的教师培训和进修方式已经不能满足知识经济快速发展以及高等教育国际化发展的现实需要。美国高校的教师发展自20世纪70年代开始得到广泛的关注,经过几十年的历程,积累了一些较为成功的经验。因此,学习和借鉴美国高校教师发展的经验,对我国医学院校教师发展具有重要的指导意义。 Faculty development is the key to ensure teaching quality and to enhance the quality of higher education. The traditional way of teacher training and education in China can not meet the increasing knowledge-based economy and internationalization of higher education. Faculty development began to be widely concerned in the 1970s in the United States, and acquired many successful experiences during decades of reforms. Therefore, to learn from the experience of faculty development in US as references will have great significance for faculty development in medical education in China.
