This article analyzes the planning experiences of Hong Kong metro parking site mixed-use projects with studying the zoning requirements, related mechanism and urban planning management, meanwhile categorizes the current status of the metro parking sites in Shanghai. From the view of saving, intensive use and sustainable design, based on the scientific research, rational utilization, and the prime functional needs of the land, searches a way for Shanghai Metro parking site mixed-use development.
