本文对各种多流中间包的非对称性提出了一个定量描述的物理量——不对称度Y,并将各种多流中间包分为完全对称型、一般非对称型、特殊非对称型等三类。对Y的几个参数选取进行了讨论,得出了几个参数与不对称度之间的关系,并指出在连铸中操作和设计方面应考虑的一些问题。

This paper put forward a physical quantity for quantitatively describing the unsymmetricalcharacter of various multi - strand tundishes-unsymmetrical degree Y. All of thetundishes were divided into three types: the complete symmetrical, the common unsymmetrical and the particular unsymmetrical tundishes. Several parameters of configuration of tundish were discussed according to Y. The relationships between these parameters and unsymmetrical degree Y were gotten. And it pointed out some problems considered during the process and design of continuous casting.
