针对ＺＤ－１型静电场描绘仪在使用中受电磁铁驱动打印的影响而带来的一些缺点，以火花放电在热敏记录纸上记录的方式，取代ＺＤ—１型静电场描绘仪所采用的电磁铁响应记录方式，改机电结合电路为全电子结合电路，提高响应１０００倍以上，描绘效率和精度均得到进一步提高．
