Miss Du,the heroine of the story Du Shiniang Sinks the Treasure Box with Fury has been handed down as an exquisite paradigm of destruction and considered as an example of anti-feudal ethics.From the perspective of literary disenchantment,this paper uses the 'human conflict' as a logical starting point and offers a possibility of giving the story a modern interpretation so that the image of Du could be of some value in the light of modern interpretation.
