Boosting Modern Agricultural Development in Hilly Areas by Science and Technology Innovation

采用文献调查与实地调查相结合的方法,分析四川丘陵地区农业现状,提出丘陵地区现代农业的基本定位与发展目标;推动丘陵地区现代农业发展的主要对策是调整重心、培植新兴学科、建立综合试验区、选育突破性品种、集成创新综合技术模式、抓好科技创新展示、加速科技示范推广、加强农民培训、抓好科技扶贫、推进农业产业化等。

This paper has analyzed the present agricultural situation in hilly areas of Sichuan and presented science and technology strategies, using the research method of literature and fieldwork. There are not only obvious advantages but also some constraints of agriculture in hilly areas of Sichuan province which has become the main agricultural production areas. On this basis, the basic orientation and development target of modem agriculture in hilly areas of Sichuan were proposed. Its main countermeasures to promote modem agricultural development in hilly areas of Sichuan are adjusting center gravity, cultivating new subjects, establishing comprehensive experimental zones, breeding breakthrough varieties, integrating technology models, paying adequate attention to technology innovation showcase, accelerating popularization of sci - tech, strengthening the training of farmers, making a good job of poverty alleviation, promoting agricultural industrialization and SO on,
