The application of JCI Standard in the construction of hospital nursing safety culture

目的运用JCI国际评鉴标准,以患者为中心,建立和完善原有的护理规范、制度和流程及安全环境,营造安全文化氛围,以提供安全的护理服务。方法将国际JCI标准导入护理安全文化建设中,包含修订和增加工作规程文件、以患者的安全理念推动护理工作,并运用JCI评鉴工具进行患者追踪及系统追踪。结果护理安全的理念和文化逐渐形成,护理工作标准及流程更规范、一致,不良事件发生率下降,患者满意率提高。结论将国际JCI评鉴标准导入医院安全文化建设中,有助于提升护理管理水平,使护理管理水平达到科学化、标准化、国际化,提高了护理安全性,降低了医疗风险。

Objective To establish and perfect the original nursing regulations, working systems/procedures and safety envi- ronment by using the JCI International Accreditation Standards and to build a safety culture environment and provide safe nursing serv- ice, with the patient as the center. Methods The international JCI Standards were introduced in the construction of hospital nursing safety culture, including the revision and addition of the documents concerning nursing procedures. The doctrine of placing patients in the first place should be pushed forward and patient tracking and system tracking be done by using the JCI International Accreditation Standards. Results The doctrine and culture of nursing safety was gradually formed in the hospital, and as a consequence, nursing standards and procedures became more standardized and unanimous, and patients＂ satisfaction was obviously increased. Conclusion The introduction of JCI International Accreditation Standards into the construction of hospital safety culture will help to promote the nurs- ing management level of the hospital, and will also facilitate to achieve scientization, standardization and internationalization in the hos- pital nursing management, and in the meantime to increase the nursing safety and reduce medical risks involved.
