敦煌遺書《佛性經》殘片考

A Study of a Fragment of the Scripture on Buddha's Nature Recently Discovered in Dunhuang

本文認爲敦煌遺書中新發現的《佛性經》殘片爲佛教化摩尼教典籍,或是以摩尼教思想爲核心,摻雜佛教因素的具有混合性質的經典。該《佛性經》即《開元錄》卷一八所載僞經《彌勒摩尼佛說開悟佛性經》。本文並就《佛性經》第八品殘文所表現的摩尼教解脫觀和輪迴觀進行了梳理研究。

This article introduces a fragment of the Scripture on Buddha's Nature ( Foxingjing) recently discovered among Dunghuang manuscripts. In my opinion,it is a Buddhicized Manichaean work,or a mixed work that is centered on Manichaean ideas but also includes Buddhist elements. One can find a reference to the Scripture on Buddha's Nature as an apocryphal Buddhist scripture in volume 18 of the famous Buddhist catalogue Records of the Kaiyuan[Reign]( Kaiyuanshijiaolu) in which the Scripture on Buddha's Nature presumable appears under the name of the Scripture on the Avakening into the Buddha's Nature Pronounced by Maitreya-Mani ( Milemonifoshuokaiwufoxingjing ) . This article singles out and analyzes the Manichean views on salvation and reincarnation contained in the available fragments of the 8th chapter of the Scripture on Buddha's Nature.
