摘要 介绍了钒氧化还原液流电池的原理和特点 ,指出钒氧化还原液流电池是一种新型的蓄电池。将钒电池与Cr Fe、Cd Ni及铅酸蓄电池进行比较 ,其比能量高 ,工作寿命长 ,结构简单 ,能够实现“瞬间再充电” ,用途广泛 ,能进行电网调峰 ,特别适用于电动汽车。同时介绍了钒电池的研制发展概况 ,对钒单电池和千瓦级钒电池组的结构进行了描述。我国是钒资源大国 ,开展钒电池的研究特别重要 。 Principles and characteristics of vanadium redox flow battery, a novel energy storage system, were introduced. Compared with Fe Cr redox battery, Ni Cd battery and lead acid battery, the vanadium battery performed higher energy density, longer operating life and more simple sturcture as well as the possibility of “instant recharge” by replacing its electrolytes. All vanadium redox flow systems were used for various applications, such as power load leveling, especially for electric vehicles. The development of vanadium redox flow battery were also discussed as well as the structure of single vanadium cell and 1 kW vanadium battery pack. Research of vanadium battery is very necessary in China due to the rich vanadium resources there. It is pointed out that the key technologies of developing vanadium redox flow cell were to improve the activity of its electrode materials and to select the proper separator.
