“台湾人”群体对中国大陆的刻板印象

The Stereotyped Impression of the "Taiwan Residents" Group on the Chinese Mainland

当代台湾已经形成"台湾人群体",而视大陆人为"他群",他们对大陆的刻板印象多是负面的,从而形成偏见与歧视,对两岸关系造成严重的伤害。这是在两岸关系和平发展进程中,必须关注的一个问题。本文探讨"台湾人群体"对大陆的刻板印象的具体表现及其危害,并且针对现阶段两岸交流的情况,分析其对减少刻板印象的作用与局限,认为通过两岸群际沟通减少刻板印象,进而减少偏见与歧视需要经过相当长的过程,至于增强两岸认同,形成"两岸共同体"更需要走很长的路。

Modem Taiwan has now formed a ＂Taiwan Residents group＂ and regarded the mainland as ＂other group＂. They mostly have had the negative stereotypes on the mainland, and thus the prejudice and discrimination have taken shape, which has done a great harm to the development of the Cross-Strait relations. This is an issue that we should focus on and deal with in the process of peaceful development of Cross-Strait relations. This paper explores in detail both the way their stereotypes on the ma- inland are revealed and the harm they have done. On the other hand, the paper also makes a detailed analysis of the role and limitations in reducing the stereotypes in terms of the current Cross-Strait exchanges,believing that it will take a long period of time before the stereotypes can be reduced to such an extend that the prejudice and discrimination are diminished through the Cross-Strait group interpersonal communications,while it has a long way to go before both sides of the Strait try to enhance their identity and achieve the formation of a ＂Cross-Strait community＂.
