Japanese online cataloguing system is an effective tool for classifying and cataloguing the books donated by Japan Science Society. This paper expounds the procedures of classifying and cataloguing the books with Japanese online cataloguing system, analyzes and sums up the advantages of the system, and proposes some solutions in the light of the problems currently existing in the process of classifying and cataloguing of the donated books by Japan Science Society.
