摘要
One of the four most important grottoes in China,the Maijishan Grottoes are located about 35 kilometers southeast of Tianshui City in Gansu Province.Though Maijishan has an elevation of only 142 meters,its central peak is still dramatic,rising up in the shape of a huge pile of hay and giving the mountain it’s name maji,meaning haystack.
