高校历史专业英语教学改革之思考

Reflection into Teaching Reform of College English for History Majors

明确高校历史专业英语课程定位和教学目标,合理设置课程,加大教材建设力度,加强师资队伍建设,采用合理、灵活的教学模式和方法,完善课程考核机制,是解决目前高校历史专业英语教学存在问题的对策。

It is important for Non-English majors to take the course of specialized English in a university. Teaching of English for History majors is different from others. Based on the current problems, the present article proposes some countermeasures for improving the teaching quality of English for History majors. It is insisted that explicit orientation and objectives, rational curriculum and textbooks, quali-fled faculty, flexible teaching methods, and scientific evaluation system should be helpful to the improvement of the teaching quality of English for History majors.
