Correct operation and maintenance are the primary prerequisite for the normal running of horizontal tube continuous digester. This paper analyses and studies the problems and causes that occur on several main horizontal tube continuous digesters in use. Right operating methods and advices on improvement of the equipment have been suggested accordingly.
