摘要
HINOC是一种新型的同轴电缆宽带接入技术,本文对HINOC MAC层协议的性能进行了理论分析。首先介绍了MAC层协议的主要机制和物理层帧结构,在此基础上重点研究了MAC层性能,计算了各种参数条件下MAC层吞吐量和传输效率,并对网络传送时延进行了分析。理论分析表明,HINOC MAC协议具有良好的性能,可以达到较高的MAC层传输效率、吞吐量和较平稳的传送时延。
HINOC is a new broadband access solution over coax.The performance of HINOC MAC protocol is analyzed in this paper.Firstly,the main mechanisms of the MAC protocol and the frame structure of the PHY layer are introduced.Then,with the throughput and transmission efficiency calculated under various parameters and the network transmission latency analyzed,the performance of the MAC protocol is mainly discussed.The results of the analysis indicate that HINOC MAC protocol shows good transmission efficiency and throughput as well as steady transmission latency.
