穿行在现代与传统之间——论台湾作家蔡文甫的小说创作

Traveling between the Modernism and Tradition ——On the Fiction of Cai Wenfu from Tai Wan

台湾小说家蔡文甫一方面对现实传统"一往情深",从司空见惯的现实中取材,摹写日常生活中小人物、平常事,表达着对处于新旧交替时期普通人的人生、人事的悲悯与嘲讽;另一方面又在现代和后现代文化交替的时代语境里,吸收现代主义的艺术营养,写出了现代社会中所面临的人性困境、人性的挣扎、人性的异化及情感的冲突。其作品呈现出传统与现代交融的特色,穿行于现代与传统之间,形成了独特的叙事风格。

Cai Wenfu, a novelist in Taiwan, has been passionately devoted to reality in his writing for over twenty years. His novels, derived from the common life, depict ordinary people and trifles in daily life, and express his sympathy and irony. Meanwhile, in modern and postmodern context, he describes the dilemma, struggle, alien- ation and conflict of human nature in modern society by using hints, symbols, imagination, streams of consciousness and psychological analysis. So his works present the characteristics of the modern and traditional times. By traveling between the modern and traditional times, he forms his unique narrative styles.
