施雨,名林雯,1989年赴美,美国医学博士,在美国医学院、医院工作11年,后弃医从文,现专事文学创作,组建海外文学创作团体"文心社",现任总社社长;《文心》季刊总编辑。"文心社"已成为北美乃至海外华文文学的重镇,集结了许多海外重要作家。著有长篇小说《下城急诊室》(原名《纽约情人》)、《刀锋下的盲点》,诗集《无眠的岸》、《双人舞——杨平/施雨同题诗》、《施雨诗选》,散文和随笔集《美国儿子中国娘》、《美国的一种成长》、《归去来兮》,译著《走进马拉卡楠宫——菲律宾总统阿罗约夫人传》等。在海内外诗歌、散文和小说征文中多次获奖。
Shi Yu, M.D. （USA）, whose former name is Lin Wen, moved to the United States in 1989, After working in US medical schools and hospitals for 11 years she abandoned medicine for literature. Since then, Shi Yu has established and served as the president of an overseas literature creation society named ＂Wen Xin She＂. She also serves as a chief editor for ＂Wen Xin＂, a quarterly magazine. ＂ Wen Xin She＂ has become an important place for North American and Chinese literature and also gathered countless overseas writers.
