《傲慢与偏见》中人物会话的语用分析

A Pragmatic Analysis of Conversational Implicature in Pride and Prejudice

一般来说,交际会话需要遵循合作原则,才能提高交际的效率,实现交际的目的。但是在特定的语境中有意违反合作原则,能够更好地刻画出人物性格,突出人物内心真实意图。本文借助语用学中的合作原则来分析小说《傲慢与偏见》中的人物会话,着重分析人物会话对英语语用学合作原则的成功违反,从而揭示小说中人物的性格特征和交际意图。

In order to improve the efficiency of communication and to achieve the purpose of communication, people need to obey the principle. But in the specific context, people tend to violate the cooperative principle to better describe the character and express the true intention. This paper analyzes the conversation in Pride and Prejudice from the pragmatic viewpoint. By analyzing the successful violation of the cooperative principle in conversation, we learn more about the personality of the characters and the communicative intention in the novel.
