A.S.拜厄特的长篇小说《占有》被认为是英国当代小说的经典之作。本论文试图从女性主义叙事学视角出发,解读小说中的叙事声音、叙事时间和修辞方式,探讨作者是如何采用迂回巧妙的叙事策略来挑战和颠覆以男性占主导地位的传统文学创作方式并构建起女性叙事权威的,从而更好地明晰拜厄特的创作意旨。
The novel Possession proves to be a masterpiece in contemporary English literature. This article at- tempts to make an interpretation of the female narrative in Byatt＇ s Possession by the means of interpreting the feminist implications of three narrative strategies：narrative voice, narrative time and narrative rhetoric in the novel, and to discuss the author~ narrative strategy of challenging and subverting the male - oriented literary creation in the tradition, and to construct the female narrative authority,exploring Byatt＇s intention of creation.
