NI Si-chong and Development of Bengbu City during the Early Republic of China

二十世纪初期倪嗣冲主政安徽时将蚌埠作为其统治的政治中心,促进城市经济快速发展,丰富了蚌埠的文化事业,改善了蚌埠的城市建设,使之一跃成为当时安徽政治、军事、经济的中枢,为日后蚌埠的城市发展奠定了基础。阐述了倪嗣冲主政安徽期间在蚌所为与蚌埠城市发展的关系,并就其选择蚌埠作为区域政治中心的原因加以分析。

NI Si-chong advocated politics Anhui Bengbu as the political center in the early twentieth century, which promoted its economy to develop quickly, enriched the cultural undertakings and improved the construction of Bengbu City. So the city became well-known as Anhui province political, military and economic centre, which laid a foundation for the future development for the city of Bengbu.
