摘要
最近 IBM公司在利用 SOI(Silicon- on- insulator)技术制作计算机中央处理器 (CPU)方面取得了突破性的进展 ,该消息轰动了全世界。SOI电路最突出的优点是能够实现低驱动电压、低功耗。文中介绍了市场对低压、低功耗电路的需求 ,分析了 SOI低压、低功耗电路的工作原理 ,综述了当前国际上 SOI低压、低功耗电路的发展现状。
Recently, a great breakthrough has been made by IBM in CPU manufacture using SOI technology, which shocked the whole world. The most prominent advantage of SOI circuits is its ability to realize low voltage/low power. In this paper, we introduce the demand of market for low voltage/low power electronics and the principle of SOI low voltage/low power circuits. The present state of SOI low voltage/low power electronics is discussed as well.
