Impolite speech acts exist widely in verbal interactions. Impolite speech acts, as a pragmatic strategy for the realization of particular communicative goals, are motivated by the speaker＇s intentional choice of rapport--challenge orientation in language use. Consequently, the face and the sociality rights of the addressees or the involved third party are threatened.
