意象是审美主体为了达到一定的审美目的或表达一定的思想情感,而将主体的情感、意绪和思想融入客观事物的形象或心中的物象,从而形成主客观统一的符号化表象。从语言学语篇衔接的角度看,边塞诗的意象衔接手法主要有描述性意象、抒情议论性意象、隐喻性意象和象征性意象。

Image is a symbolic representation unifying subjectivity and objectivity. It is formed when the aesthetic subject combines his emotions, moods and thoughts into objective figures around or in mind, for fulfilling a certain Aesthetic purpose or expressing some thought. From the perspective of cohesion in the discourse, the image cohesion of frontier poetry is mainly divided into descriptive image, lyrical and at- gumentative image, metaphorical image and symbolic image.
