There have always been different explanations about Tao Yuan-ming＇s ＂Xianqing Fu＂. In regard to the author＇s experience of life and the poetry creation, we think that the beauty in ＂Xianqing Fu＂ has a symbolic meaning, which bore junior Tao Yuan-ming＇s great ambition and the nostalgia of idyllic life, as well as in later life, in the contra- diction between the ideal and the reality, the continued persistence of idyllic life.
