河南夏邑方言中的语气词“来”

The Modal Word “Lai”(来) in Xiayi Dialect

夏邑方言语气词"来"的用法很丰富,既可以表示动作的完成、进行,状态的持续等事态变化,也可以表示强调等情态语气。本文通过历史探源和方言比较,论证了该方言语气词"来"并非其他语气词的变读,而是动词"来"的语法化,是近代汉语语气词"来"的继承和发展。同时,考察了该方言中合成语气词"子来"跨层语法化的过程。

The modal word ＂Lai＂ （来） is used profusely in Xiayi dialect, serving as not only the marker of perfective, progressive and durative aspects but also the marker of modalities denoting stress. By probing into the historical source of the modal word ＂Lai＂ （来） in Xiayi dialect and via comparisons with other dialects, the paper argues that the modal word ＂Lai＂ （来） in Xiayi dialect does not come as a result of the pronunciation changes of other modal words, but rather it is the grammaticalization of the verb ＂Lai＂ （来） , which is the continuation and development of Modem Chinese modal word ＂Lai＂ （来） Meanwhile, the process of the trans-layer grammatical- ization of the compound modal word of ＂Zilai＂ （来） is also investigated.
