蒋春霖以词鸣世,是近代杰出的词人。就诗艺而论,亦不失为咸同名家。蒋春霖《水云楼剩稿》存诗不及百首,但感慨殊深,功力不凡。它抒写了身世之感和兵戈之乱。蒋春霖诗主要师法杜甫和中晚唐诗人,颇工近体。

Jiang Chunlin is an outstanding ci poet in modern Chinese history, whose ci writings are of great prestige. There are only less than 100 poems anthologized in his Leftover Manuscripts from Shuiyun Studio, though, these poems are of profound emotions and reflect the remarkable creative talent of the poet. His poems attempt to depict the tumultuous times and give vent to his sense of life experiences. Jiang Chunlin＇s poetry writing style chiefly imitates those of Du Fu and other poets of the mid-and-late Tang Dynasty.
