The characteristics of Internet electric commerce are introduced. Both advantages and the conditions of its implementation in China are analyzed. In order to solve the problems of payment attestation, security consideration, uniform standardization, and resources and contents of information in electric commerce, several suitable suggestions for the development of the commerce are proposed.
