整合高校法律教育资源 促进地方法治文明建设——以宜昌建设现代化特大城市为背景

On Integration of Legal Education Resources of Universities for Promotion of Local Legal Civilization——a Case Study Based on Yichang

地方高校利用资源优势为地方经济社会发展服务是高等教育发展的历史使命,是高校社会服务职能的具体体现。宜昌正在努力建设现代化特大城市,在发展的过程中必然伴随着新的问题。我们既要促进宜昌经济社会又好又快发展,又要实现社会的和谐、公平和正义,这些目标的实现需要完备的法制保障。作为宜昌地区唯一的高校,三峡大学理应为宜昌经济社会发展贡献自己的力量。法学院应凭借自身良好的法学教育资源,加强与地方有关单位的交流与合作,为地方法治文明建设服务。

It is the mission and social service function of local universities to serve for local economic and social development by utilizing their resource superiority.Nowadays,Yichang is striding forward a modern metropolis,during which some new problems will arise undoubtedly.On one hand,local universities need to facilitate economic rapid and sound development of Yichang;on the other hand,they have to guarantee social harmony,fairness and justice.To achieve above goals,a complete legal safeguard system was required.Being the sole university in Yichang,China Three Gorges University(CTGU) is supposed to make contributions to economic and social development of Yichang.Thus the faculty of law of CTGU should strengthen communication and cooperation with local units by virtue of excellent legal education resources and give service to local construction of legal civilization.
