H .32 3系统主要用于局域网的多媒体通信 ,向网上的终端用户提供实时语音、数据和视频业务。随着它的商用市场的开拓 ,其中对网络安全的实施与保障受到越来越多的重视。在这种情况下 ,SG16工作组于 1998年 1月制定了H .2 35(用于H系列多媒体终端的安全与加密 ) ,并于 1999年 10月推出了适应新情况的H .2 35v2。H .32 3主要涉及了四个安全领域 :用户认证、数据加密、信息的完整性、不可否认性。它的研究重点为用户认证、数据加密和密钥管理。

H.323 version2 is a draft proposal about audio visual and multimedia systems over IP network. With the development of the H.323 multimedia systems, the question about security and encryption has become a hot issue. The ITU T Study Group 16 has formulated the H.235 Proposal in order to implement security scheme in H.323system. The security proposal covers four security aspects, i.e. authentication, integrity, privacy and non repudiation.
