摘要
讨论了立体视觉系统的性能以及参数变化的影响。研究表明,观察者能够感到三维效果而又不引起眼睛过度疲劳的空间区域范围以及最小可察觉深度距离等都可由系统几何光学参数控制。由于在深度方向和xy平面上的放大倍数不同会引起三维图像的畸变。最后通过一个例子说明了调整系统参数来满足三维系统性能要求的基本设计方法。
The performance of stereoscopic system and its dependence on various parameters are investigated. It is shown that the extent of the region of space which can be displayed in three dimension without causing undue eye strain to the observer,and also the minimum detectable depth interval,are may therefore he controlled by the system's geometrical and optical parameters.Distortion in three-dimensional images due to the difference between the depth magnification and the magnification of the xy-plane is also analyzed. Finally,it is demonstrated that the expressions defining the relationship between the performance of a 3D system and its various parameters form a useful basis for the design of a system of this type for a given application.
